Still kicking: becoming pro, getting engaged, and keeping up the art.
Ahh its been a while, but I think I still have a few blog posts left in me. A lot has happened since my last post. I graduated from school, wound up doing game design at a small social games studio called theBroth, then jumped over to Zynga where I am currently designing for a game called FishVille.
I also proposed to my girlfriend by building her a video game. You can also play the game over on my website.
I’ve also been keeping up my artwork because I love doing it and because it comes naturally to me. Here’s some WIP breakdowns of my latest piece (concept art by Anthony Jones):

I’ve also been concentrating a lot lately on the intersection between web usability, metrics analysis, and game design. Essay forthcoming.

Hey man, I looked over your portfolio and resume and am pretty impressed. I am thinking of going into a Bachelor’s for Game Design at Full Sail. Have you heard anything good or bad about them? Any pointers?
